You’re going to love how fast Tickle Liposuction is, both on the day of the procedure and during your recovery. The tickle liposuction technique makes use of a very small incision and an air-operated cannula (a thin tube) which is inserted into that incision. This means no excess heat from the cannula to cause discomfort. Instead, the cannula vibrates at 10 Hz, a fairly mild level of motion, and this movement is what breaks up the excess fat, so it can be extracted as a liquid easily through the same cannula. The whole thing takes far less time than traditional liposuction, and so will your recovery. As a bonus, since no heat is applied during Tickle Liposuction, your unwanted fat can be reused for fat transplantation.
No General Anesthesia Required
With no heat and nothing more than a single tiny incision, a local anesthetic is typically all that is needed during Tickle Liposuction. The medication is also inserted using the cannula, and it quickly disperses in the area. At that point, the cannula moves with 3D motion, breaking apart fat and aspiring it at the same time. This entire process is minimally uncomfortable, and is not painful at all—and in fact, patients often laugh at a tickling sensation during the procedure. The length of the procedure depends on how much fat is removed, but the local anesthetic is enough throughout the process.

As with any surgical procedure, Tickle Liposuction is not totally free of risks—but the risks that are present are minimal in comparison with all comparable techniques. Since there is neither heat applied to the body nor general anesthesia, the risks with Tickle Liposuction are simply lower. The most significant risks are cosmetic: loose skin and uneven fat distribution as you might see with any fat removal procedure. Risks for either of these are minimal and easily remedied later by your cosmetic surgeon.
What is the recovery time like?
You can be back to work in as little as one day. Because general anesthesia is not used, you can be back up on your feet as soon as the procedure is finished. However, you will have to wear a pressure garment for 1-4 weeks to ensure the best results.
How good are the results?
Results are immediate, but will vary from person to person. The areas where the lipo was performed will continue to improve over several weeks and months.
